On my own for the first time.

Hey there. For the past three years I've been trying to figure out how to do a blog. I somehow signed up for one, but could never manage to make my way around the blogging world. Today my dear daughter, Katie, took the time to get me started. So my first blog was actually written by her. She showed me how to add pictures and do some basic stuff. I am so thankful for her patience and help. That's her and her husband, Nate, in the picture above. Now just so you know how bloggingly challenged I am - it took me 20 minutes to load that picture. But I got it!! So proud of myself! :)

And so now, its bedtime. (I can tell because my dear husband is laying a few feet away from me on the couch and sawing logs. Its his pre-bedtime nap.) Tomorrow morning we will be going to Ralph Zeigler's funeral. Oh the sweet memories I have of him. What stands out most are the times he came to the tractor auction at the 4-H fair grounds and I was privileged to wait on him at the concession stand. He sure enjoyed a nice piece of pie, but didn't want his wife to know. And oh how he liked to visit and share tidbits about his farm life.

And so now I have a huge picture of an antique Farmall M in honor of Ralph Zeigler. It wasn't supposed to be so big, but I don't know how to make it small. So in memory of a very bighearted man, here's a big picture.

Happy Sunday

Hello friends! We've had quite a busy weekend here on the Miller farm.

Looks just like her Grandma Miller!!

Oh my golly, isn't she the cutest thing!! Ben and Alisha and Sophie came down and visited us.  Don't you think I'd look good in that outfit!?! ;)

We had the whole family here plus two college friends of Becca's.  We took our family Christmas card photo. I thought about giving you a sneak peek here, but we'll just build suspense.
Sophie and Grandpa!

Looking forward to sharing more with you here!!
